INBOUND16 has come to a close. It’s been an intense four-day affair where we all learned a lot. Everyone is itching to rush back and get to work with all the new insights. Of course all of that is after we take a quick nap.

But as always there are a lot of us who are going to miss this and are not yet ready to say goodbye. And some of us are already excited for INBOUND17.

So while we wait, here are some of the best INBOUND16 quotes from this year’s keynotes.

Gary Vaynerchuck’s keynote was all about impressing upon us the immense opportunity that we have today. It’s all about taking the right decisions, taking risks and embracing failure.

Brian Halligan’s keynote started off with a brief look at how he started HubSpot. He talks about how everyone from their investors to their pets were advising them on what to do.

And here’s what he and Dharmesh did with all that advice:

Dharmesh Shah introduced himself as an anti-social technologist. As expected, his bit of the keynote was all about changing technology and how it impacts the future of marketing.

Alec Baldwin’s keynote was by far the the most entertaining session this year. It even had him briefly revive his role as America’s new President elect. But he also talked about some of the lessons he has learnt along the way to fame.

And finally, Reshma Saujani took the stage on Day 3 to deliver a powerful session on technology and the role of women in that space. She talks about the importance of women in driving innovation and the need for better representation of women in tech.

But amidst all of that, there’s one keynote that was very relevant to the changes happening outside the world of INBOUND16. Ta-Nehisi Coates’ keynote focused on the results of the US Presidential election and its ramifications.

So that’s it. We hope these INBOUND16 quotes help you relive some of the best moments at the event this year, and tide over the wait till next year.
