Follow the steps to send WhatsApp messages directly from the contact’s timeline within HubSpot:
- Go to the existing contact’s timeline in your HubSpot portal
- By using HubSpot+WhatsApp Integration, you must be able to see an additional ‘HW’ icon next to the other action icons (Note, Email, Call, Log, Task, Meet)
- Click on the ‘HW’ icon
- In the 'Compose New Message’ window that has opened, enter a new message, or draft one using pre-existing templates; you can create new templates to use in the HubSpot+WhatsApp Integration Dashboard
- Attach required image/media file
- Click ‘Send’ after composing the entire message
- A message sending confirmation will appear on the page
- The message will be populated/ updated on your contact’s timeline. You can view the status of the message here
