Here's a quick guide to transitioning from the (old) Infobip WhatsApp & SMS Integration by Niswey to the (new) Infobip App.
1. Install the new Infobip App
- Go to https://hubspot.ibintegrations.com/ and click Authorize
- Select the correct HubSpot portal and click Connect
- Enter your API key and hit Submit
- Select the phone numbers for which you want to activate the WhatsApp Automation integration, and click Connect
- Click Copy the Webhook URL, and paste it into your Infobip account’s incoming message webhook settings
Your new Infobip App is now connected.
2. Use the new integration in your active workflows
You would have set up different workflows to send different template messages automatically, with the old app. It would be best if you now made some edits to these workflows:
- Open a workflow that’s using the old Infobip WhatsApp & SMS Integration by Niswey
- Here, click the + icon right above the existing “Send Message” action
- Choose the correct message action now, from the (new) Infobip App
- Set up this action as required, with the right template. Essentially, this new action will replicate the existing action that was set up with the (old app) Infobip WhatsApp & SMS by Niswey
- Now delete the old actions, the ones created by (old app) Infobip WhatsApp & SMS by Niswey
- Save your edited workflow
3. Delete the (old app) Infobip WhatsApp & SMS by Niswey
- Next, go to your HubSpot portal, click the Settings icon on the top right
- On the left panel, click on Integrations > Connected Apps
- Find the app Infobip WhatsApp & SMS by Niswey
- Click on Actions > Uninstall
